Triverre Institute™ Curriculum

14 Modules. One Journey.

Explore the complete Institute curriculum — from identity and self-worth to financial literacy and leadership. Each module is designed for its age group with interactive activities, real stories, and reflection prompts.

Course 1: Knowing Myself

The journey begins with self-discovery — understanding who you are, what you value, and what makes you uniquely you.

Every girl is one of a kind. In this module, you'll explore what makes you special — your personality, your interests, your strengths, and the things that make you light up inside. You'll start building a personal identity map that you'll carry through the entire Pearl Path.

Learning Goals

  • Identify at least 5 personal strengths and qualities
  • Understand the difference between who you are and what others expect you to be
  • Create a personal identity map with your values, interests, and dreams
  • Recognize that your identity can grow and change over time

Activities

  • My Strengths Shield — Design a shield with your top 5 strengths
  • Identity Map — Draw a web of your interests, values, and dreams
  • Mirror Affirmation — Write 3 positive things about yourself you can see in the mirror

Real Story

Meet Amara, a 13-year-old who loved art but felt shy about sharing it. After mapping her identity, she realized art was her way of expressing feelings she couldn't say out loud. She entered her first art show and won an honorable mention — not because her art was perfect, but because it was authentically hers.

Reflection Questions

  • What are three things that make you uniquely you?
  • What is one strength you have that you sometimes forget about?
  • If you could describe yourself in one word, what would it be and why?

Where you want to go

Your voice is one of the most powerful things you own. This module helps you discover what you care about, practice speaking up for yourself and others, and learn that what you say has value — in conversations, in friendships, and in the world.

Learning Goals

  • Understand that your thoughts and opinions matter
  • Learn 3 techniques for speaking up confidently
  • Practice active listening as part of good communication
  • Identify a cause or issue you care about

Activities

  • Voice Journal — Write about a time you spoke up or wished you had
  • Power Pose Practice — Learn and practice 3 confidence body language poses
  • My Cause Poster — Create a mini-poster about something you care about

Real Story

Jasmine, age 12, noticed her school didn't have a recycling program. She practiced what she wanted to say, used her power pose, and spoke up at a student council meeting. The council voted to start a recycling program — all because one girl decided her voice mattered.

Reflection Questions

  • What is something you feel strongly about but haven't spoken up about yet?
  • How does your body feel when you're scared to speak up? How can you change that?
  • Who is someone whose voice you admire? What makes their voice powerful?

Friendships are one of the most important parts of being a teenager. This module teaches you what makes a healthy friendship, how to set boundaries (and respect others'), and what to do when friendships get complicated.

Learning Goals

  • Identify qualities of healthy and unhealthy friendships
  • Learn what boundaries are and how to set them kindly
  • Practice communication skills for resolving conflicts
  • Understand that it's okay to outgrow friendships

Activities

  • Friendship Map — Map your friendships and what each one means to you
  • Boundary Bracelets — Create a bracelet that represents a boundary you want to set
  • Role-Play Cards — Practice what to say in tricky friendship situations

Real Story

Maya realized her best friend was constantly making negative comments about her appearance. Using the boundary skills she learned, Maya calmly told her friend how those comments made her feel. Her friend apologized and stopped. If she hadn't, Maya was prepared to create distance — because she learned that healthy friendships make you feel good about yourself.

Reflection Questions

  • What are three qualities you look for in a friend?
  • What is one boundary you want to set but find it hard to?
  • Have you ever outgrown a friendship? How did it feel?

Course 2: Growing Strong

Now that you know yourself better, it's time to build the inner strength that helps you handle anything life brings.

Did you know that emotions aren't good or bad — they're information? This module helps you understand what your feelings are telling you, practice healthy ways to express them, and learn that being emotional is actually a strength, not a weakness.

Learning Goals

  • Name and identify at least 10 different emotions
  • Understand the connection between thoughts, feelings, and actions
  • Learn 3 healthy coping strategies for big emotions
  • Recognize that all emotions are valid and temporary

Activities

  • Emotion Wheel — Color-code your emotions and when you feel them
  • Feelings Journal — Track your emotions for one week
  • Coping Tool Kit — Create a personal kit of 5 things that help you calm down

Real Story

When Zaria's grandfather passed away, she felt so many emotions — sadness, anger, confusion. Using her coping toolkit, she wrote him a letter, took a walk, and talked to her mom. She learned that grief comes in waves, and each wave eventually passes. Months later, she helped her friend through a loss by sharing what she'd learned.

Reflection Questions

  • What is an emotion you find hard to handle? What might it be telling you?
  • What are three things that help you feel better when you're upset?
  • When was a time your emotions helped you make a good decision?

Dreams aren't just for sleeping — they're the blueprints for your future! This module teaches you how to turn big dreams into step-by-step goals, overcome the fear of failure, and understand that the journey matters just as much as the destination.

Learning Goals

  • Learn the difference between a dream and a goal
  • Practice breaking big goals into small, achievable steps
  • Understand that failure is part of success
  • Create a vision board for one personal goal

Activities

  • Vision Board — Create a collage of your dreams and goals
  • Goal Ladder — Break one big goal into 5 small steps
  • Failure Reframe — Write about a 'failure' and what you learned from it

Real Story

Aaliyah dreamed of becoming a veterinarian, but she was failing science class. Instead of giving up, she broke her dream into steps: study 20 minutes a day, ask her teacher for help, join a science club. By the end of the semester, she had a B+ and a plan. She learned that big dreams happen one small step at a time.

Reflection Questions

  • What is a big dream you have for your future?
  • What is one small step you can take this week toward that dream?
  • What does 'failure' mean to you? How might you think about it differently?
